Many people think it&#x27;s the amplifier in the GBA itself that makes the noise. After removing the original amplifier, reverse engineering it and connecting it to a separate PCB and driving it with a clean function generator signal, I found that it amplifies the audio perfectly, without the noise. The problem is that the game console itself makes the noise. When you add an amplifier like the CleanAmp, the noise gets worse, enough to be annoying and distracting from the gaming experience. I decided to spend some time solving this problem because no one else has solved it. The only other solutions are wrong solutions that try to filter out the noise with a simple low pass filter that effectively removes most of the original sound. This is not the solution I want. I want to fix the cause, not mask it.</p>
